There will be a number of stalls around the village in the Open Gardens including cakes, books, jams and preserves, handmade quilted boxes and plant sales. There will also be a few competitions and fun stalls, including ‘Name the Gardener’ toy competition.

Priory Plants from Hintlesham will be running a plant stall at Flowton Hall on both days (www.prioryplants.co.uk)

Facilities
A portable toilet will be situated in the Churchyard and a couple of our gardens are kindly providing toilet facilities. A disabled access toilet will be available at one of the gardens.

Parking
Parking will be clearly signposted. Most visitors will be able to leave their car and walk to most of the gardens. Please bear in mind that Flowton is only served by single track country lanes and so if you do park around the village, please park considerately. The largest parking areas will be on Somersham Road/Church Acre, Otterditch (off-road) and Flowton Hall. A few other spaces are available at some gardens.

Walks around Flowton
Flowton is situated in some gorgeous Suffolk countryside so is ideal for walking. We will be selling a short guide to walks around Flowton for a small charge. These will guide you on some 15-20 minute short walks to longer 1-2 hour walks. Most of these are well signposted footpaths on the edges of farming fields, woods and some of our country lanes. If you bring your dog, please do clear up after them.

Supporting local charities
This event will be raising money for Flowton Church Fabric Fund for repairs to the Church tower at St.Mary’s. We will also be supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
