What’s on in 2019?

As well as the amazing Flowton gardens which open at 12noon, there is lots on offer:

Flower Festival
The festival theme this year is on nursery rhymes, with flower displays filling St Mary’s Church. Open from 11am – 5pm. 

Local history exhibition
Our local historians will be exhibiting photos, maps and more from Flowton and the local area in the church vestry. Do pop in and have a look!

Vintage tractor displays and egg demo at Gate Farm
We are delighted to be holding a display of vintage tractors at Gate Farm. They are also holding egg production demonstrations during the weekend to see how egg farming and quality checks/grading is carried out.

Stalls and sales
Many of our gardens will be hosting sales such as plant stalls, jams and local honey, cake stall, ice-creams (weather dependent) and local arts and crafts. Take a look at the programme map on arrival for more information.

Military vehicle display
A display from the Restore and Display Military Group is also on show so do have a look around their vehicles. The RDMG go to military shows and rallies and on trips to Europe, USA, and Australia. The vehicles range from a military bicycle, motor bikes, Jeeps, Austin Champs, Land Rovers through to larger trucks GMC, Diamond T, Ward la France which is a tank recovery vehicle, a bulldozer and even an army low loader.
